Furth
Furth, situated at the junction of the rivers Pegnitz and Rednitz, which here form the Regnitz, is now almost continuous with Nürnberg. The first railroad line in Germany, opened in 1835, was between Fürth and Nürnberg.Although it has some well preserved stone and half-timbered houses of the 17th and 18th centuries, Fürth is predominantly a modern town.
